![]() Hence why I asked, and hence why I got very helpful answers here (exactly which aspects of the game are controller friendly, which ones aren't, how necessary a keyboard is, etc.).Īlso, backseat moderating is against Steam's rules, so take care not to (repeatedly) tell other people what to do. I have a Steam Controller for 4+ years now, I'm experienced with it and that "guide" is as basic as it gets and NO HELP TO ME AT ALL. I wanted up to date and specific answers. I'm telling you this for the SECOND TIME. I already searched, didn't find what I was looking for. ![]() We've had it in the past but since we've changed so much of the input in the game it was time consuming to maintain it during Early Access so we've dropped maintaining controller support until we feel like the game is more finished and then we'll do it for reals. It looks like the Steam Controller can work kinda OK. :/ That's why I was hoping for a more complete controller support. I have wireless ones too, but nowhere practical to actually put them without it being a hassle. I use the controller when I play from an armchair and the PC is too far to connect keyboard + mouse. My current setup doesn't allow for that sadly. ![]() The game doesn't have great "controller support" but it definitely can be done and is worth the trouble because it's such an awesome game, it just feels natural to me now to use all three. Some menus open with a controller but don't close with the same button so you just use the mouse and while you can navigate most menus with a controller it's just easier and faster to also use the mouse. Originally posted by jjlcruiser:Train stations, trains and drone ports and I assume the new signs as well now can be named to whatever you want and you just use your keyboard for that, the game detects keyboard, mouse and controller all at the same time so you just use what you need to when required, I haven't used a Steam controller so don't know about that.
